Let me start by saying that I loved this book the story is great, very creative, I finished it in 2 days and I’m waiting for the sequel because I’m low key in love with the Sandman.
But even tho I loved it I’m still giving this book 🌟🌟🌟 for two reasons.
1- The book lacked depth especially when it came to the characters, there were no enough details about their lives & personalities which made it hard for me to be able to connect with them also the description of the dream world was not as deep as I would have loved it to be and there was no enough information about the magic world & how things work was which left me very confused.
2〰️ Things were rushed as the book begins by throwing us in the middle of the story, it took me a while to be able to understand what’s going on, Things like the murders and also the romance got thrown to my face & I couldn’t fully feel whatever I was supposed to feel.
But overall it was an easy read and I recommend it for anyone who’s under the age of 21 or to anyone who wants something light and easy to read.
And I’m hoping that the author would fix those things in the 2nd book because I still have high hopes for this one.
